Class syllabus
Course Objective:
This course will introduce the concept of Pokémon and focus on the 17 different types. We will highlight some of the different skills of certain Pokémon, but more in depth analysis of the games and different generations will come in later classes (pending approval).
Course Signups:
Class sign ups will be open through September 31st. You do not have to sign up for the HOL Forum to read about what is going on with the class, but there will be a place for questions and course updates, so keep that in mind if you do need a venue to ask a question!
Course Due Dates:
There is only one due date for this class and that is January 15th. All course material will be due on that date and absolutely no extensions will be granted because of this. You may choose to do all of your work the day you sign up for the class, or you can do it all in January, so long as it is not late.
Quill Requirements:
To earn a quill you must have earned 150 points total from the class. This can be earned from any of the assignments or the class final.
Points:
There will be 9 assignments worth 30 points each and 1 final exam worth 30 points. There will also be a class evaluation at the end of the class worth 5 points if you want to make up a couple of missed points. You can earn a max of 300 points, and no extra points will be awarded.
